Volunteer to help Audubon Texas as they work to build an
environmental education program at Cedar Ridge Preserve, connecting
children who grow up in urban areas to the natural world. This is part
of the organization's 2020 Vision; to build a national network of 1,000
community-based nature centers across the U.S.
TI is excited about the work being done nationally and
locally to engage students in real world math and science-related
activities. TI is working closely with Audubon Texas, providing funding
for a variety of much-needed technology equipment and technical
expertise, and recommending volunteers like you!
This volunteer program will enable you to share your
love and enthusiasm of nature with others and learn more in the process.
Training to become an Interpretive Naturalist Volunteer has already
begun. Fortunately, you don't need to be an expert to get started-the
ongoing program will teach you what you need to know. A weekly
commitment is ideal, but any help is welcome.
Cedar Ridge Preserve is located just outside of Dallas.
