Sea Life
Aquarium at Grapevine Mills, Grapevine, Wednesday, Feb. 22 - Five
thousand new residents have found a home at Grapevine Mills Mall, all of
them more likely to plop than shop. The 45,000-square-foot Sea Life
Aquarium is now open for visitors. There are 30 display tanks, a
touch-tank section where guests can hold smaller animals and a “360
tunnel,” a glass hallway that completely surrounds guests with oceanic
life. We will leave at 10:30 a.m. from the Texins Activity Center, tour
the aquarium at 11, eat lunch at the Rainforest Café at our own expense
at 1 p.m. and still have time to look around the mall before heading
home about 3 p.m. The cost is $22 for members and $25 for nonmembers,
which includes admission to the new aquarium and bus transportatio
